The Kids Are Alright Tour at Subtext

Firstly I would like to thank everyone who was able to come out to the grad show last week! The evening was such a thrill and it was nice to see everyone's hard work pay off. A big congrats to the whole 4th year class (+ those sexy award winners)! There is much more posting to be done about the show and everything...as I have been lagging with that this last little while.

I'm pretty much a bag of emotions this last little bit as I've been preparing to move and trying to soak in as much school time fun as I can before it's time to really 'get to work'. I'm hoping the work that I've been doing this last little while is representative of how things will go.

Here is my contribution to "The Kids Are Alright" tour show, which has it's next stop off at Subtext in San Diego.
'Wolf Drawn'
24" by 24", mixed media and collage on paper

The process of working on this piece was tremendously helpful and liberating to do, and it kind of sparked a wonder in me that's been kind of dwindling this last little bit. I'm excited to get back to work after the move. Here's a link to the online preview of the show.

Future Perfect

Tessar Lo / Future Perfect / LeBasse Projects from Modus Films on Vimeo.

This Saturday marks the opening of my dear friend Tessar's first solo exhibition at LeBasse Projects gallery. Tessar is one of the truest creative minds and souls I have had the pleasure of knowing...I wish I was able to make it out to the opening to take in all the work and see all the surprises Tessar has in store for his show.

If your in the LA area you should definitely go check it out.
I believe this will truly be something to remember.

Congrats Te te!
